I appreciate the opportunity to assist you in complying with requirements and providing resources to ensure the safety and health of your workers now and in the future.
I also would like to take this opportunity to commend you on the excellent work you are doing to protect your workers during this pandemic. As I noted in my report, your control of the personnel entering and exiting the site is fantastic. By requiring everyone to phone in to the trailer you ensure that each site visitor is subject to your active screening measures (temperature) and that they will review your JHA.
As for the JHA, it is comprehensive, and the addition of the change log is an excellent idea. Visitors and workers can track the changing response to the pandemic and feel assured that their employer is doing its best to protect them.
Worker compliance to the JHA was fully observed during my visit and walk. The carpenters who could not observe physical distancing were all wearing respirators, and the workers who could maintain physical distancing were doing so both on the job site and in the trailers.
Your signage was excellent, and I took photos to submit to our team as an example of passive screening done correctly.
One of the most impressive protections is the addition of a full time cleaner to the site. This is vital during this pandemic, and you are doing a fantastic job of ensuring your workers have clean wash stations.
Overall, I have to say I was very impressed with all you are doing on the site, and my report definitely reflected that.
The PGP team would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation and congratulations for the work accomplished by Greater City Concrete Works during our summer 2015 shutdown.
Despite the last minute introduction of additional operations scope and the later delivery of the aisle footprint, GCCW successfully and professionally completed all required scopes of work in an organized and timely manner. We particularly note the efforts of Jason Patrick when confronted with the challenges of deteriorated existing foundations on the #7 Converter and the Matt Gran wall. He quickly and effectively rebuild the foundations in order to minimize the impact on the original scope of work.
We also note the efforts of Mr. Penney and GCCW as a whole in effectively planning and executing all the shutdown pre-work such as scheduling, formwork, rebar design and steel plate design and fabrication.
Once again, our thanks for a job well done. Please communicate our comments to the rest of the team.
